Oviposition by summer and winter forms of pear psylla (Homoptera: Psyllidae) on dormant pear budwood

The winter form of pear psylla, Psylla pyricola Foerster, readily oviposited on pear budsticks and leaves; the summer form had a strong preference for leaves and was reluctant to oviposit on budsticks.
