Zusammenfassung: | We report a case of an 11-year-old patient presenting with a displaced anterior table frontal sinus fracture, resulting in a contour deformity. Fractures of the anterior table that result in contour irregularities may be an indication for operative management. The frontal sinus, however, continues to develop through late adolescence, and our patient's fracture remodeled completely within 1 year from injury, without operative management. This clinical report indicates that displaced anterior frontal sinus fractures in the skeletally immature have the potential to completely remodel with time, and therefore may be successfully managed non-operatively. |
