Zusammenfassung:A 49-year-old man with metastatic melanoma and pathologic fracture of the sternum was deemed to be a poor candidate for general anaesthesia. He suffered severe pain and range of motion limitation that did not respond to narcotic therapy. Ultimately, the lesion was managed with computed tomography-guided cryoablation and subsequent cementoplasty, and saw good initial clinical results.
