Zusammenfassung:	The effects of technical grade glyphosate (Gly) and the commercial formulation Ron-do were investigated on population growth and chlorophyll-a content of Scenedesmus acutus and Scenedesmus quadricauda. The 96 h EC50 for S. acutus was 10.2 and 9.08 mg per litre for Gly and Ron-do, respectively and for S. quadricauda 7.2 and 9.09, respectively, indicating a major sensitivity of Gly to S. quadricauda. Only S. quadricauda exposed to 50 mg Gly per litre had a significant decrease in chlorophyll-a content.
