Zusammenfassung:The phytopathogenic fungus, Alternaria citri (Alternaria alternata pathotype citri), produces a complex of analogous toxins (ACTH-toxin) which selectively damage Dancy tangerine (Citrus reticulata ) and other mandarin cultivars. Another distinct pathotype of A. citri produces toxins (ACRL toxins) specific for rough lemon and Rangpur Lime. In the present report we present the structures of the major two mandarin toxins (ACTG toxins A and B) and a relatively nontoxic isomer (ACTG toxin C).
