Zusammenfassung:In this paper, the authors describe tricyclic antidepressant drug effects on the structure of large multilamellar liposomes prepared from DPPC, DOPC, and egg PC, 1.6-Diphenyl-1,3,5-hexatriene (DPH), a highly lipophilic fluorescent probe (14), has been used to characterize the concentration and temperature dependence of drug-induced alterations of liposomal membrane structure. The size of the multilamellar liposomes was determined by electron microscopy.
