Zusammenfassung: | In the framework of the projected shell model, we investigate the competition between the two-quasineutron and two-quasiproton K super( capital pi )=6 super(+) states in the ytterbium isotopes and N=104 isotones adjacent to super(174)Yb. The super(174)Yb results are compared with the experimental data. The K super( capital pi )=6 super(+) isomer observed in super(174)Yb is assigned as an admixture of the. upsilon 7/2 super(-)[514] direct product upsilon 5/2 super(-)[512] and capital pi 7/2 super(+)[404] direct product capital pi 5/2 super(+)[402] intrinsic structure, which explains the experimental degree 'g sub(K)-g sub(R) degree ' value. Similar mixing would appear in super(172)Yb, super(176)Hf, and super(178)W. The low-lying K super( capital pi )=6 super(+) states are also predicted in super(170-178)Yb. |
