High-resolution stimulated Raman spectroscopy and analysis of the nu sub(2) and nu sub(3) bands of C sub(2)H sub(4)
The high-resolution stimulated Raman spectra of the nu sub(2) and nu sub(3) bands of C sub(2)H sub(4) have been recorded and analyzed separately by means of the tensorial formalism developed in Dijon and Reims for X sub(2)Y sub(4) asymmetric-top molecules. For the nu sub(2) band, a total of 191 line...

Zusammenfassung: | The high-resolution stimulated Raman spectra of the nu sub(2) and nu sub(3) bands of C sub(2)H sub(4) have been recorded and analyzed separately by means of the tensorial formalism developed in Dijon and Reims for X sub(2)Y sub(4) asymmetric-top molecules. For the nu sub(2) band, a total of 191 lines were assigned and fitted. We obtained a global root mean square deviation of 1.8610 super(-3)cm super(-1). For the nu sub(3) band analyzed in interaction with the nu sub(6) infrared band, a total of 185 lines were assigned and fitted. We obtained a global root mean square deviation of 1.2910 super(-3)cm super(-1). Both analyses lead to very satisfactory synthetic spectra. Copyright [copy 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
