Zusammenfassung: | The 2500 printing companies in the Netherlands, most with fewer than 10 employees, comprise one of the more pollution-intensive industries. This industry has participated with the government in the development of covenants governing environmental behaviors. A study of the printing industry examined environmental behaviors and their implications for policies. To date, the government exerts influence primarily on end-of-pipe behaviors. Changes in other areas will require time, and participation from within and outside the industry. |
