Zusammenfassung:A low-grade mineral residue was used for studying the solubilization of phosphorus by four strains of bacteria. The percentage of solubilization attained varied according to the strains and concentration of mineral used. A Pseudomonas sp. was particularly suitable for attaining about 50% of solubilized phosphorus, when 1 g/1 of mineral was employed in the medium.
