Twenty-five Years of Gender & History

This year marks twenty-five years of Gender & History. This volume will include a bumper special issue on gender and religion: a timely contribution of historical perspective in times when conflict between religions divides the globe (not least over the conception and practical enforcement of incompatible gender differences), and when people sharing the same religious faith are riven by differences over sexuality and the authority granted to and claimed by women in relation to men.
