Zusammenfassung:	The pathology of a granulosis virus in larvae of the army cutworm, Euxoa auxiliaris Grote, is described based on observations using light and electron microscopy. The disease symptoms and pathogenesis are similar to previously reported granuloses, except for an unusually acute infection of the integument and an abrupt cessation in larval growth. The characteristics of this disease support the possible use of this virus as a viral insecticide for the army cutworm.
