Zusammenfassung:Broad bean wilt virus (BBWV) is a widespread virus which infects many wild and cultivated plants. It occurs frequently in Yugoslavia where, in the region of Zagreb, has been isolated from three different hosts; Nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus ), Broad bean (Faba vulgaris ) and Digitalis ferruginea . As seen in the light microscope, the intracellular inclusions of the isolate from Nasturtium and Broad bean were identical, forming three types of crystalline bodies, i.e. polyhedrons, elongated plate-like or spindle-shaped crystals. Now the authors report observations on intracellular changes induced by another isolate from Nasturtium (BBWN-ZM) which was also found in the region of Zagreb.
