Zusammenfassung: | Results are presented of the adsorption of a nonionic surfactant onto activated carbon. Using Langmuir and Derylo-Jaroniec equations, ultimate capacity, equilibrium constant, and energetic parameters are deduced. The experimental results are compared with those obtained using two bi-solute systems and discussed in terms of competition, inhibition, or promotion of the adsorption of co-adsorbates on the C sites.
