Zusammenfassung: | Improvement effect of painting efficiency by using low volatile organic compounds (VOC) paint was investigated experimentally and numerically. We measured painting efficiency of low-VOC paint and conventional paint under crosswind by wind tunnel experiment. The painting efficiency and particle size distributions of spray of the test paints were calculated by simple numerical calculation. The efficiency of low-VOC paint was clearly better than that of conventional paint. It was shown that the motions of spray particle of the low-VOC paint were predictable by the simple numerical model. |
