Zusammenfassung: | Perfused rat striatal slices were prelabelled with either ( super(3)H)(+)-amphetamine or ( super(3)H) beta -phenylethylamine. Electrical stimulation released a significant amount of radioactivity only from the slices prelabelled with ( super(3)H) beta -phenylethylamine. Results indicate that, in spite of the structural similarities between AMPH and PEA, only the latter which is the naturally occurring analog of AMPH can be released by electrical stimulation in a calcium-dependent manner. |
