Zusammenfassung:	Aphid parasites with different host ranges and living in different parts of the world are now grouped under the name Aphidius colemani . A strain from Brazil, more polyphagous than the indigenous population is now being introduced in the Mediterranean area. Therefore, the present paper compares the morphology and esterases of these two strains. Number of antennal segments, relative lengths of pterostigma and metacarp and pubescence are different. The mediterranean parasite is characterized by an esterase with R super(F) 0,80 and the brazilian one by a set with R super(F) 0,63 and 0,70.
