Zusammenfassung:The present paper deals with a hybrid linear stepper motor for biomedical applications. The involved biomedical system is a syringe pump generally used for continuous drug infusion. The syringe pump consists of a hybrid linear motor coupled to a syringe plunger. In order to determine the axial force to control the syringe plunger, it was necessary to begin by evaluating the thrust force. The proposed system has the advantages of mechanically robust, simple structure and operation under hostile working environment. The finite element analysis (FEA) provides an intuitive and precise analysis of the proposed motor. The proposed machine is expected to find applications in high-precision manufacture field. For that purpose, three structures are presented and compared.
