Zusammenfassung: | Women were sentenced primarily for ordinary crimes and offences, and they were not from the social margins. The sources reveal, however, how stereotypes concerning women affected the judges rulings. As a result, during the 15th century no archetypal figure of a criminal woman emerges from these sources. Reproduced by permission of Bibliothèque de Sciences Po |
