Hemeroteca as a Strategy for Reading and Writing

This paper presents a reflection on the teaching of reading and writing texts in higher education. In this paper, we question the strategies employed by the disciplines of Portuguese, as regards the course of Administracao, and we propose that the matter be taken from the elaboration of hemerotecas. The activity with the newspaper library showed very significant results, as it enables students to develop skills and competencies that are not addressed within the high school At the end of this paper, we present how this activity can be developed. We highlight the importance of involving teachers of other subjects which gives the appearance of interdisciplinary work. Adapted from the source document
