Zusammenfassung: | The relationship between anthropology and cultural studies has given rise to various academic debates dating back from several years ago. Not only "generational" conflicts have been brought to light fostered by the undisciplining social sciences. Furthermore, those debates have put on the table certain discussions on the situated character of those productions allowing to understand their particularities as a result of institutional, economic, political and epistemological contexts where everybody operate. This paper puts forward a number of hints to think the current debates between anthropology and cultural studies, especially in the case of the Colombian academia and other intellectual practices (as Daniel Matto calls them), and their possibilities, continuities, agreements and disagreements in the last few years.
