Smog Chamber Studies of Nox Transformation Rate and Nitrate/Precursor Relationships

An environmental chamber study of nitrogen oxide reactions is discussed. The study was undertaken to determine the rate of nox transformation to nitrate products, the environmental factors affecting the transformation rate, the relationship between nitrate products and their hydrocarbon and nox precursors, and the relationship among nox , O 3, and nitrates.
