Zusammenfassung:The sorption of 2-aminoanthracene, 6-aminochrysene, and anthracene-9-carboxylic acid on 14 sediment and soil samples that showed various physicochemical properties was researched. The Freundlich partition coefficients (KP) for each compound were highly correlated with the organic carbon content of the soil/sediment tested. No other correlations with soil/sediment properties were detected. Experimental values of water solubility and octanol-water partition coefficients for the three compounds are presented.
