Zusammenfassung:Chemical control agents need not be lethal to insects, and behavior-modifying "pestistatic" chemicals may represent a practical alternative to biocides. Many investigators have reported pestistatic actions of chlordimeform such as antifeeding activity and abnormal behavior induced by the chemical. In the present experiments the authors investigate the site of action of the CBMN induced by chlordimeform to the cabbage armyworm, Mamestra brassicae .
