Population Education: What Impacts Can We Measure?

The may definitions of population education are surveyed. Most of these definitions state that population education is any program or course that deals with the nature and meaning of population change, composition, distribution, mortality, migration, or fertility. Other educators believe that such programs should be designed to change human reproductive behavior patterns. Methods of evaluating the impacts of population education are described.
