Zusammenfassung:The fluorescence pattern of the enterocytes of larval A. cyanea obtained by the incubation of cryosections with rhodamine-phalloidin, a histochemical probe for F-actin, exactly coincides with the distribution of 6 nm filaments. These prevail as core bundles in the microvilli terminal web including the rootlets of the core bundles and filaments associated with the adhesive junctions; intercisternal arrays in the subapical stacks of smooth endoplasmic reticulum, and cortical web underneath the basolateral plasma membranes.
