Zusammenfassung:Lead levels in tap water of Victoria, Canada, where lead service pipes were installed about 40 years ago, are investigated. Water samples from the City reservoir, from households with and without lead pipe delivery systems, and from households with soldered copper pipes are compared in the morning, at noon, and in the evening. Steps for minimizing danger from lead contamination in tap water are outlined.
