Sitophilus oryzae L.). The original data set has been extended considerably since publication of this model, permitting an enlargement of the effective domain. It has also been possible to derive more sophisticated component sub-models, based upon continuous functions of physical variables. The performance of the revised model is compared with that of the earlier one, and a new application is also discussed. Implications for further experimentation and model refinement are discussed. |
