Zusammenfassung:An environmental chamber is used to determine the relative disappearance rates of eight aromatic compounds in air under simulated atmospheric conditions of temperature, pressure, concentration, light intensity, and other trace contaminants. In early stages of reaction under these conditions, the hydroxide radical may be the species largely responsible for the chemical transformation of the aromatics.
