Effects of treated municipal wastewater on the essential nutrients interactions in the plant of Brassica oleracea var. Italica

Effects of treated municipal wastewater on the essential nutrients interactions in the plant of Brassica oleracea var. Italica, were investigated. The treated wastewater was subjected to secondary treatment, and to chlorination. Each root sample was placed in a plastic sieve and was flushed with low pressure tap water till the complete removal of soil particles. Nutrient inputs in the growth medium could affect the extent of the interactions, and also could intensify their occurrence. The results showed that most of the nutrients accumulate in the roots and relatively a small fraction of them was usually translocated to the edible plant parts.
