Zusammenfassung:Ideological trend of martial ethos in modern China showed that the change of the traditional education ideas had encouraged more martial ethos and physical education had enjoyed more importance. However, since the rational martial ethos was not formed, many citizens were used hy the warlord groups. The absence of emphasis on the intellectual elite' s leadership position in the revolution led to the marginalization of the intellectuals. Furthermore, the exclusion of the traditional sports of the school sports weakened the traditional Chinese sports culture.
