Zusammenfassung: | Recent studies have strongly hinted at the promising clinical potential of tuftsin as an immunostimulating, antibacterial, and antitumor drug. In view of this fact and in order to satisfy the increasing demands for large amounts of tuftsin needed for toxicological studies in animals, and for initial clinical tests in humans, the authors have reevaluated earlier synthetic work and explored new preparative routes to tuftsin. |
