Zusammenfassung:	Tabulated data are presented on the water solubilities of a series of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDD), determined by the HPLC generator column method. Solubilities ranged from 0.4 ng per litre for octachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin to 430 ng per litre for 1,2,3,7- tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin at 20C. There was a high correlation between water solubility and HPLC capacity factor for these extremely hydrophobic compounds, making it possible to calculate solubility from capacity factor and melting point data.
