Zusammenfassung:The lipids of 8 strains of Flavobacterium and 4 strains of Sphingobacterium were analyzed. In all strains, the main components were phosphatidylethanolamine and sphingolipids. Several strains had a high content of 2 peptidolipids (containing ornithine), whereas one strain had only one peptidolipid fraction, and the other strains, traces. Capnoids (sulfonolipids) were also detected.
