Zusammenfassung:Melamine waste effluent stream solids contained melamine, oxytriazines and polycondensates. They were recovered by conversion to a sulphonated amino-formaldehyde resin. This resin had valuable properties for improving the compressive strengths of concrete by 70 per cent and sandy soil by 300 per cent, as well as controlling the rheological properties of drilling muds.
