Introduction and use of thyristor regulators on electric furnaces

Many arc steelmaking, ferroalloy, and electroslag furnaces at domestic metallurgical plants are now equipped with STU-022 thyristor power regulators. These regulators make it possible to reduce unit electric power consumption and increase the productivity of electric furnaces.
