This report describes the regulation of 7-dehydroxylase activity by pyridine nucleotides, cofactor requirements for the reduction of the Delta super(6)-intermediate, substrate specificity studies, and the discovery of a low molecular weight stimulatory factor for 7-dehydroxylase.
