Acute toxicity of chlorine and bromine to fathead minnows and bluegills

The objective of this study was to compare the relative toxicity of chlorine an 1-bromo-3-chloro-5,5-dimethylhydantoin to juvenile and yearling Pimephale promelas and yearling Lepomis macrochirus in a freshwater system used for cooling a nuclear reactor.
