Zusammenfassung: | Habit data were gathered at Chick Lake and Moon Lake, Northwest Territories on permanently marked transects by recording tracks. Marten selected different habitat in different seasons and study sites. Scats collected on transects showed food habits to be similar to other areas of North America in that voles were the major food of Martens. However Marten in the Northwest Territories appeared to be selective in species consumed in contrast to more opportunistic feeding habits reported for other areas. |
