Zusammenfassung:A single aerial application of Sevin FR carbaryl insecticide at a rate of 1.12 kg of AI in 2.923 liters/ha was evaluated for reducing populations of the gypsy moth, Lymantria dispar (L.) (Lepidoptera: Lymantridae), and for foliage protection in a Pennsylvania oak forest. Sevin FR was as efficacious as a single aerial application of Sevin 4 Oil carbaryl insecticide applied at the same rate and volume.
