Zusammenfassung:The regularities of changes in the microhardness of sheet, container decolorized, opal, and transparent clear plate glasses under the action of constant and pulsed magnetic fields are studied. It is found that the microhardness change of a sheet glass treated with corona discharge plasma has a nonuniform character. The migration of alkalis in the sheet glass under the action of electric discharges is revealed by IR spectroscopy and the sectioning etching technique. The factors affecting the migration processes in the surface layers of sheet glasses under plasma treatment with corona and barrier discharges are determined.
