The chitosan–phloroglucinol conjugate was characterised by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and the NMR spectra confirmed the conjugation. Antioxidant and tyrosinase inhibitory activities of the chitosan–phloroglucinol conjugate were investigated.
