Zusammenfassung:This article discusses the main findings and conclusions reached from the research project called Social Processes of Rural Space Adaptability in Bogota. Challenges and Perspectives for Rural Development in Conurbation Areas. The motivating purpose is to show the gap that exists in the processes of historical, spatial, economic, social and environmental adaptability, through which the rural milieu concentrates/disintegrates in the suburbs of Bogota. The work carried out suggests the need to value the urban-rural space units, here called conurbation areas, from which coherent zones with land planning, social interaction, development and preservation of natural resources can be established.
