Zusammenfassung: | The juvenile hormone analogue methoprene was shown to prevent adult eclosion in laboratory tests against Ceratitis capitata (Wiedemann). When used as a soil treatment in field trials, methoprene and methoxychlor were not effective. Field trials demonstrated that diazinon was highly effective and that chlorpyrifos was only partially effective in preventing adult emergence from the soil. |
