Land-use planning: opportunity for resource professionals [Forestry]

Theories and processes of planning have undergone susbstantial changes in recent decades, and innovations are occuring in the means by which state and local governments put plans into effect. Managers of public and industrial forests must keep abreast of developments and contribute their knowledge and skills when land-use plans are being made.
