Zusammenfassung:During the cultivation of Streptomyces rimosus and oxytetracycline biosythesis D.O.C. and OUR were determined. According to the rheological behaviour and values of D.O.C. a stepwise aeration progarm was applied in industrial scale. Significant savings of antifoams together with higher harvest of cultivation broth from fermenters were achieved.
