Zusammenfassung: | The development of a simulator for Field Hockey Players Location Analysis using Discrete Event Simulation and Mica-2 Sensors has been proposed in this paper. The main focus is on enhancing the localization of players on the hockey strategy board. The simulation performance analysis tool was developed as an effort to minimize the cost and time taken to set up a real test-bed for a WIHOC system Ver. 1.0. The triangulation algorithm has formed the core component used to find the position of the beacons and for measuring the distances between the beacons and the respective listeners. Results were compared to the actual positions obtained from the test-bed reading. The proposed localization method was proven to be of superior ability as compared to the previous version. The performance metrics used for the analysis is accuracy and has justified the creation of a new performance analysis tool. |
