Maintaining Tradition, Encouraging Empirical Advancements, and Continuing the Upward Trajectory of the American Journal of Criminal Justice

It is with great pleasure that I welcome each of you to the first official issue of my Editorship at the American Journal of Criminal Justice! As many of you are well aware, I was recently handed the baton from Dr. George Higgins who has now transitioned into his new role as Editor of the Journal of Criminal Justice Education. I am excited about assuming this new role, and I look forward to maintaining the tradition, encouraging empirical advancements, and continuing the upward trajectory of the American Journal of Criminal Justice.
