Carbon Politics Under Liberalism and Limitations of Justice

This paper, focusing on liberalism and justice, mainly discussed the historical limitations and profit -- driven nature of carbon politics, which operates on climate agreements. Based on the external characteristics of greenhouse gas emission, the governance of international anarchy and the constraint of national limited rational behaviors, the paper elaborated on the necessity and good visions of establishing a cooperative mechanism of carbon politics. However, the deprivation of modern rules on carbon politics suggested the capital and interest demands of climate change politics, and carbon politics in the name of climate distribution justice was represented by the effectiveness of technological ownership and market share. Therefore, the current global environmental governance system mainly speaks for the interests and ideologies of the developed countries and the very requests from the environment itself have been referred back.
