Zusammenfassung:The electroslag technologies that use a liquid metal instead of remelted consumable electrodes are considered. The conceptual technological and technical solutions serving as the basis of a designed electroslag plant intended for the production of large (up to 300 t) forging ingots and hollow ingots with an outside diameter up to 3.2 m and facing of roll workpieces are presented.
